Communication & Security
Communication
- Two-way radios are provided to every team working on a project or camping site to provide the best possible communication at all times.
- For backup, team leaders and section heads have mobile phones, and the site office will have at least one satellite phone in case of a communication breakdown, and all site locations have quick access to the internet.
- Within the GTC site office, a communications center is set up for constant contact with all stakeholders, to gather the most recent intelligence. keep everyone informed of changes or new requirements, and maintain and disseminate security protocols.
Security
- GTC understands the necessity for a well-coordinated, well-organized plan to manage the security of our local and expatriate workers, work crews, villagers residing at the work site and along its key transport routes, and any guests we may have tour project work sites.
- The extremely limited local difficulties will be considered in our project-specific security strategy, but it will also fully account for the environment’s constant change and the ongoing threat posed by mines.
